The car

A prop, not a transport service.

Some cars take people from A to B. Ours makes a picture, a scene or an event. The MG Magnette is a two-tone British saloon with red leather, a walnut dashboard and chrome that catches the light.

Good Shepherd is an engineering firm. We plan, measure and check. The car gets the same care as a building project – and so does your shoot.

Film, TV, advertising and music video. We bring the car, the owner and the documentation your production needs.

Production insurance certificate and signed agreement required before the shoot. The production arranges permits, risk assessments and trailer transport.

Events & venues

Let the car stand on site.

Weddings, launches, trade shows, corporate events and venue shoots. The car is stationary and guests may take photographs. No passenger transport.

Talent may sit in the car while it is stationary. No passengers while the car is moving. No self-drive. Paid partnerships must be clearly disclosed as advertising. Production insurance and permit requirements apply.

Can passengers ride in the car?

No. We do not carry passengers and the car is stationary when clients are with it. Moving shots with talent require a separate legal solution, such as a trailer or a licensed transport partner.

Can we drive the car ourselves?

No. We do not offer self-drive hire. The owner drives and stays with the car for the entire booking.

What do you need from a production?

Company details, production insurance certificate, dates, location, call sheet, risk assessment, permits if required, and an on-set contact.

Can the car be transported on a trailer?

Yes, arranged by the production. We assist with loading and documentation. The car must not be towed on its wheels.

What happens in bad weather?

We plan a covered or indoor alternative where possible and can move the booking at no extra cost.
